FAQ Paintball

We are open Saturdays and Sundays. You can book Weekdays by appointment only.

No outside paint. All paint must be purchased on the day of play.

No, you must use our paintballs for your safety and enjoyment. We put a lot of work into developing a system that has less impact and want play to be fair for everyone.

We only use high grade 4-star rated paintballs that are eco-friendly, water soluble, biodegradable, light/temperature, moisture sensitive. If you dropped OUR paintballs on the ground, in 3 weeks you wouldn’t recognize them, in 5 weeks you wouldn’t even find them!!

TAG tests each new lot number of paintballs before use. They must meet Bullseye’s high standards: non staining, accuracy, 14% less mass, elastic test (less than 150 newton/meters, etc.)

In a Word: Liability -

1) US has: 4.5% of world population; over 70% of all attorneys; and over 90% of all lawsuits.

The two most litigious states in US are: A) New York and B) California

2) It is “Willful Negligence” to allow general public to dictate safety protocols

3) One can ruin thousands of dollars’ worth of clothing / park property with staining paintballs

4) One can hurt every player on the opposite team with too hard paintballs

5) One can poison the property (environmental clean-up costs would bankrupt)

6) One can ruin thousands of players to never play paintball again (bad info travels faster than good)

If you find a park that allows players to bring in their own paintballs…RUN AWAY!!

As of 11/1/2024: No. All Paintballs Must Be Purchased on Day of Play. (One player ruined it for everyone)

NOTE: If you do not use all your paintballs and, they are still sealed in a bag (ie Sellable) we will issue you a coupon for the same amount at a later date so you lose nothing (and gain the best outcome)

This ensures Fairness and Freshness…no one gets hurt, (Liability Avoided).

Since 1984, we have REMAINED OPEN FOR OVER 4 DECADES in all types of weather.

“There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad planning.”

BONUS: Plastic trash bags make great makeshift ponchos.

BONUS: Bring no-fog wipes/spray for goggles. We sell wipes.

TAG has picnic tables and benches under shaded aluminum awnings to shelter you from weather between games. In hot weather, TAG uses MISTERS (40 ft long, 2 gal/minute, 1000 psi to drop up to 30 degrees!!)

Our staging area is protected by netting 12′ tall. As netting wears, it inevitably gets holes in them. To properly maintain safety at TAG, we DOUBLED our netting to ensure integrity. Yes, is is the most expensive solution…but your safety is worth it to us!

We created "Anti-Bullying Devices" (aka TAG Cards). So if you/your child witnesses something frowned upon, that issue can be called out and perpetrator must pay $1 per infraction. This reduces over 90% of 'Bad Behavior'.

Nope!

Another TAG Innovation: we actually ‘pay’ players to be good ,which eliminates (95+%) of the following: “Potty Mouth, Lord’s Name in Vain, Blind/Friendly Fire, Shooting Too: Close/Many Times/HOT/Dead players, etc.”

TAG has over 10 award-winning courses. TAG has some SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED courses for Beginners; CQB that law enforcement uses weekdays; Trenches (created by a decorated US Marine), A Paintball Fort, multiple Speedball courses, Fox Holes, Natural Terrain (river bed). Another amazing feature…they can be COMBINED to create LARGER and more dynamic courses…to keep your games fresh and exciting!

YES

Low Impact (.50cal): 8+ (if they are ‘outdoor’ kids) Physically Active, Sports, Fishing etc

Medium Impact (.68cal): 16+ is recommended (younger if they are Tough)

If you have ANY doubts if you child can’t handle it…Don’t Bring Them, PLEASE WAIT for a better time.

Not Machine Washable Clothing here at TAG they don’t.

99+% comes out in the first wash (washing wachine with leading detergent/soap).

Rarely does someone have an ‘exception fabric’ (weathered, old, etc) that needs a 2nd time around.

Here at TAG, we don’t cut corners. Others have been know to use paintball that STAIN (because they’re cheaper) Be Careful!

1) Closed Toe Shoes; (sandals/opened toed shoes NOT ALLOWED, sorry)

2) Machine Washable Clothing: (long pants/long sleeves suggested, layering clothing is best)

Imagine hiking in the Pine Trees…THAT is the apparel that should be strived for.

3) Baby Wipes (HACK)

A) Acts as a ‘no-fog’ wipe for mask/goggles

B) Wipe Hands before eating

C) Wipe body order off body parts before trip home

Not at our fields! We invested over $500,000 and 10 years in R&D to create Medium Impact .68 cal paintball – a reduction of over 50% from High Impact! And our Low Impact is even lighter! We took info from our research and applied it to the .50 cal platform to achieve over 90%+ reduction from High Impact!!

It should feel like the sting of a rubber band snap (lasts about 10 seconds). The more you layer your clothing, the less you’ll feel!

It’s easy to do a waiver on your tablet, computer, or phone.

  • A minor needs a waiver completed by a parent or guardian
  • If you do your waiver in advance, it will speed up your check-in experience.
  • Waivers expire at the end of each calendar year, so if you haven’t done one this year, please do another!

Click here and do it now!

No, a waiver must be completed by a parent or guardian.

Your waiver expires at the end of the calendar year, or when you turn 18. Simply do a new one!

When you do the waiver, just choose Adults and Minors and pick 3 minors. Then provide the name and date of birth of each, and your emergency contact info, and all 4 will be completed with one form and one signature.

NO, sorry…we have chickens at the park (that roam around like they own the place) Careful: They beg for food.

Canine in the Ancient Greek means “mutilators of flesh”; and seeing what a dog can do to a friendly pet chicken is horrific and traumatizing.

Even if ‘your dog is different’, we had too many irresponsible owners….add the 1) thru 4) here

1) Too many irresponsible owners in the past (incessant barking, whining, not picking up the poop, and one player got bit) That’s enough for us.

2) Dogs love to EAT paintballs (and there are A LOT on the ground) and its not good for them (throwing up & diarrhea).

3) Pets are distracting and distractions are not safe.

4) This is a ‘gun-noise’ environment which isn’t a healthy environment for pets (terrifies some breeds).

We love animals TOO MUCH for this. Sorry 🙁
